Everything you need to know before your trip.

Dress in layers — ocean weather changes fast. Bring snacks and drinks (no alcohol), seasickness medication if prone, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a valid Oregon fishing license. We provide all tackle and equipment.

For lingcod and rockfish we typically fish 5-15 miles offshore in 150-300 feet of water. Albacore tuna trips go 30-60 miles out. We always monitor conditions and won't leave the harbor if it's unsafe.

Not at all. We welcome complete beginners — Captain Curt will show you everything you need to know. Experienced anglers are also welcome. We gear instruction to whoever's on the boat.

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we'll contact you in advance to reschedule at no penalty. We monitor forecasts closely and rarely cancel — the Oregon coast is fishable most days.

No — each angler must have a valid Oregon saltwater fishing license before boarding. You can purchase one online at myodfw.com or at most local sporting goods stores. Annual and one-day licenses are available.
